We are thrilled to announce that Sparkup Tartu Science Park, Estonia’s leading science and technology incubator, has officially joined DeepTech Alliance.
With nearly 20 years of experience supporting high-tech ventures, Sparkup Tartu Science Park is a vital engine in Estonia’s innovation landscape. As the oldest science park in the Baltics and a key player in Tartu’s research-driven economy, the Park is home to more than 70 companies and has deep ties with the University of Tartu, Estonian University of Life Sciences, and other national institutions.
Sparkup plays a pivotal role in turning cutting-edge research into scalable commercial ventures. Through a combination of incubation programs, business development services, and international partnerships, it is accelerating the growth of science- and technology-intensive startups across five key focus areas:
- Space Technology
- Unmanned Aviation
- Artificial Intelligence Applications
- Health and Biotechnology
- Green Technology
Notable initiatives include the ESA Business Incubation Centre Estonia, international acceleration programs, and the upcoming AI Applications Centre. Over the next five years, Sparkup aims to support 150 deep tech startups, allocate €3.8M in direct startup funding, and co-organize over 200 ecosystem-building events.
